Good to Go

Lots of glamorous people, like Elizabeth Taylor, Princess Grace of Monaco and Ronald and Nancy Reagan, once dined on the Bistro’s famous chocolate souffle. Although the Beverly Hills restaurant is gone, the souffle lives on. It’s served at the Bistro Garden in Studio City, and you can buy it to serve at home, thanks to BG to Go, the takeout shop next to the restaurant. Don’t worry about the souffle falling en route. The batter, packed in individual foil ramekins, is unbaked. A few minutes in the oven and it becomes as puffy as ever. BG to Go sends along sweetened whipped cream, and you can add a sprinkle of powdered sugar, as the Bistro did.
