Newport Dunes’ annual Easter festivities will take place today through Sunday. Events begin today with a 3 p.m. parade of children wearing bonnets they decorated themselves while visiting the resort. There will also be an Easter egg hunt on the beach, a pancake breakfast and a “cottontail bike parade,” as well as a visit from the Easter bunny. The cost to participate in the egg hunt is $3.
