The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers to drive seniors to and from medical treatments. Over the last six months, volunteer drivers for the Road to Recovery program have made 1,043 trips transporting patients, and the need for drivers is increasing. Volunteers need a valid driver’s license and insurance, and must be at least 25 years old. They use their own vehicle or drive an American Cancer Society van.
