Fountain Valley School Board members last week reviewed a $34-million proposed budget for the 1999-2000 school year. The biggest change is the addition of a kindergarten through fifth-grade special-education class that requires a new teacher and two new aides. The board will conduct a study session April 22 to discuss the proposed budget, but it will not include several items from Gov. Gray Davis’ proposed budget until they are enacted into law this summer.
