Speaking on behalf of myself and my grandchildren, we applaud your endorsing Proposition CC--the bond for the L.A. Zoo (Oct. 21). There is no place in town that better displays the real concept of family values. Kids of all ages--generations of families--spend the day together at the zoo taking in the beautiful surroundings and learning about the animals. The L.A. Zoo is a precious resource we should care for and preserve.
