Walker, Campbell to Discuss Books

Author Bebe Moore Campbell will interview fellow author Alice Walker on Thursday in an event sponsored by Writer’s Bloc, a nonprofit L.A. lecture series. The evening will feature the authors discussing writing topics as well as other subjects. An audience question-and-answer period will be included.
The authors’ latest books--Walker’s novel “By the Light of My Father’s Smile” and Campbell’s “Singin’ in the Comeback Choir”--will be available for purchase and signing.
The 7:30 p.m. event will be held at El Rodeo School, 605 Whittier Drive, Beverly Hills. Admission is $15. Call (310) 335-0917 for reservations.
