Flint Strikes Late for Orange Coast in Overtime Victory Over Riverside

Quarterback Jared Flint scored on an eight-yard run in the second overtime to help host Orange Coast defeat Riverside, 21-14, Saturday in a Mission Conference football game.
Flint also completed a pass to Ivan Mercer to convert on fourth and 16 from the Riverside 21 to keep the winning drive alive for Orange Coast (3-2). Flint completed 11 of 16 passes for 140 yards.
Ray Ohrel scored on a one-yard run in the first overtime to give Orange Coast the lead, 14-7. But Ben Ranes scored on a 20-yard pass reception from Mike Wilcher to tie it, 14-14, for Riverside (1-4).
OCC’s Andre Stewart, who rushed for 34 yards in nine carries, scored on a one-yard run in the third quarter to tie it, 7-7.
