Driver Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash

CHATSWORTH — A 21-year-old woman died when she drove her eastbound car through a red light Friday afternoon and was broadsided by a northbound construction truck. The truck driver was uninjured. The accident happened at 2 p.m. at Chatsworth Street and Topanga Canyon Boulevard, and blocked traffic for two hours. Los Angeles police did not immediately release the woman’s identity.
