‘Taming of the Shrew’ to Have Weekend Run

The Prism Productions version of “Taming of the Shrew” will be Oct. 29 through Nov. 1, at the Brea Curtis Theater.
According to the Brea communications department, “It’s Hercules vs. Xena in this reinvented, wild and woolly, knock-out comedy of the ultimate battle of the sexes by William Shakespeare.”
Tickets are $15 to $17 for adults, $13 to $15 for seniors and $7 to $9 for children. To order, call the box office at (714) 990-7722. The Curtis Theater is at the Brea Civic & Cultural Center, 1 Civic Center Circle, plaza level. Box office hours are Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and one hour before performances.
