Meeting Will Plan All-Faiths Celebration

A meeting to plan a citywide holiday celebration in December for residents of all faiths will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Villa Park City Hall.
Mayor Rich Freschi, who is organizing the Dec. 6 event, said the meeting will include discussion of the “Great Villa Park Inland Yacht Parade.”
The boat parade will begin at 5 p.m., with other festivities to follow. Parade entries can be “anything that can be pulled behind a motor vehicle,” Freschi said.
