Applicants Sought for 4 City Panels

City leaders are looking for residents to fill openings starting this summer on four panels: the planning, recreation and parks, cultural arts and traffic safety commissions.
One student position will be open on the Traffic Safety Commission. Planning commissioners receive $50 a month for their services; residents who serve on the other commissions receive $25 a month.
The deadline for filing applications is at 5 p.m. June 5. The City Council will hold interviews in June or July.
Incumbents will be given the opportunity to request reappointment.
Applications may be picked up at the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, 401 E. Chapman Ave.
