KPCC’s Sancho to Host Chicano Music Awards

The 10th annual Chicano Music Awards, hosted by KPCC-FM radio personality Sancho, will by held May 16 at 8 p.m. at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
Chicano bands Little Joe y La Familia, the Headhunters, Randy Garibay, Nuestro and Straight Up will perform, as will comedian Gilbert Esquivel.
The awards show serves as the major source of funding for the Quetzalcoatl Memorial Scholarship, which aids college-bound Latino students.
Tickets for the event are $25 and $55.
