Quartz Hill 6, Westlake 1--The Rebels took third place with a rout of the Warriors.
Highland 3, Quartz Hill 1--Tournament most valuable player Nichole Rawson pitched a complete game, striking out three for the Bulldogs in a semifinal at Hart High.
Freshman Natalie Rawson tripled for Highland.
Hart 3, Westlake 1--Sophomore Amanda Fortune (3-0) threw a complete game with 10 strikeouts for the Indians in a semifinal at Newhall Park.
In other games:
L.A. Baptist 3, Western Christian 1--Jillian Rice had three hits and drove in two runs, and Nikki Girard (2-1) allowed four hits and struck out 12 for L.A. Baptist in the third-place game at the Western Christian tournament.
Agoura 9, Malibu 0--Chrissy Davie hit a three-run double during a seven-run third-inning in a Simi Valley tournament consolation game called after five innings because of the 10-run rule.
Amanda Oleson (2-1) pitched a one-hitter for the Chargers (5-2), striking out six and walking none.
St. Bonaventure 11-14, Nordhoff 8-15--Nordhoff (2-1) overcame 12 errors in the second game to earn a split in a nonleague doubleheader at Nordhoff.
Chaminade 0-2, Thousand Oaks 0-0--Maureen LeCocq (1-2-1) had a two-hit shutout and struck out seven and Lindsey Weinstein and Courtney Whale each had run-scoring singles for the Eagles (1-2-1) in the second game of a nonleague doubleheader at Thousand Oaks.
LeCocq, who had five hits on the day, pitched a four-hit shutout in the opener, which umpires called after seven innings.
