Santa Margarita 77, Fresno Edison 58--The Eagles withstood a 38-point outburst by Tiger guard Willie Johnson by not letting any other Edison player reach double figures. Meanwhile Santa Margarita depended on its balanced scoring--four players in double figures led by center Dekker McKeever’s 20 points and 14 rebounds.
BOYS’ DIVISION V
Rolling Hills Prep 55, Cambria Coast Union 53--Sophomore forward Jason Zellers scored 18 points for the Huskies and Roberto Covey had 19 for Coast Union.
GIRLS’ DIVISION I
Marina 72, Bakersfield Stockdale 58--Chanda McLeod had a game-high 27 points and 12 rebounds for Marina (28-4).
GIRLS’ DIVISION II
Brea Olinda 63, Glendora St. Lucy’s 26--Chelsea Trotter of Brea Olinda scored 22 points on nine-of-11 shooting.
Chula Vista East Lake 67, Troy 57--Brooke McIntyre had 24 points for East Lake, which overcame 25 points by Troy’s Veronica Johns.
