LAUSD Board

The June 1 article about the L.A. school board’s numerous closed-door meetings disgusted me.
Our state’s sunshine laws are there for just this reason. The last time I looked, we were still a free country with a government run by its citizens--not some pompous bureaucrats who try to hide their doings from the people who must ultimately pay for their decisions.
Their arrogance deserves swift action. The entire board should be expelled and replaced with people who respect the principles that the U.S. was founded on.
