Police Arrest Suspect in Hospital Shootings

District of Columbia police arrested a man at a military base in Columbia and charged him with murder in a shooting spree inside a hospital cancer center that killed professional boxer Reuben Bell. Tomar Cooper Locker, 23, of Fort Washington, Md., was awaiting extradition after being arrested at the Ft. Jackson Army base where his wife is stationed, police said. He has been charged with first-degree murder and faces other charges related to injuries sustained by five other people who were wounded in the hospital lobby. Bell was shot Feb. 5 inside Washington Hospital Center’s Cancer Institute.
