School Air-Conditioning Delay
I am disgusted and appalled at the delays installing air-conditioning at 77 Valley schools with the sweltering days of September just around the corner.
The board of education and the firm overseeing the installation, 3DI-O’Brien Kreitzberg Inc., should be charged with gross negligence and incompetence.
A bond issue was passed last year and money is available, and yet our teachers and students have to suffer.
Officials of these organizations should be forced to trade their air-conditioned offices for classrooms with triple-digit temperatures!
