She Did Not Have a Good Old Time

“Casual Corner,” (Aug. 9) about the “Chubb’s Antiques Roadshow” was very amusing. However, I was there, and it was not amusing for the thousands of people who stood in line in the sun for hours and then didn’t even get inside.
Though it had been advertised to run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 10:30 a.m. all the people still in line were turned away--”Sorry, no more tickets.” The tickets were free but not in ample supply. Your funny drawings and comments left out a major part of the story.
