Candie Kung of Fountain Valley shot three-under 69 in the first round of the PGA Junior Championship on the PGA National Golf Club’s Champion course in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Kung is in second place, three shots behind Leigh Anne Hardin of Martinsville, Ind. Fullerton’s Angela Rho is tied for fifth after a 74.
