From Roussillon, the Catalan-speaking corner of southern France, comes this good little country wine blended of Carignan, Syrah and Grenache. It’s a sturdy, rustic red with bright, juicy fruit and pleasant notes of spice. Inexpensive enough to pour for a crowd and able to stand up to grilled meats, it’s an ideal summer barbecue wine.
