Spotlight: Bank Plus Hires Keefe Bruyette for Strategic Help

Bank Plus Corp. said it hired Keefe, Bruyette & Woods Inc., a research and investment banking firm, to provide strategic guidance. Bank Plus’ need for more “in-depth market evaluation and strategic options” prompted the formal relationship with Keefe Bruyette, a Bank Plus spokesman said. Los Angeles-
based Bank Plus is the bank holding company for Fidelity Federal Bank, which has 38 branches located predominately in Los Angeles and Orange counties. Its stock fell 13 cents to close at $10.63 on Nasdaq.
