Rebecca Shore Named High School Principal

Los Alamitos High School will start classes in Sept. 8 with a new principal: Rebecca Shore, former assistant principal of curriculum at Westminster High School.
An eight-year veteran of Huntington Beach Union High School District, Shore has held administrative posts at Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley high schools.
Before 1990, she worked as a music teacher at Glendale High School and in Louisiana.
Shore succeeds Carol Hart, who was promoted to assistant superintendent of instructional services at the Los Alamitos Unified District office.
