Resurfacing to Begin on Santa Monica Boulevard

A Santa Monica Boulevard resurfacing project will get underway Monday. Caltrans says construction begins at Centinela Avenue on the west and continues to the San Diego Freeway on the east.
The resurfacing work will be performed at night, Monday through Friday, and the contractor may also work weekend nights.
The first order of work will be repairing curbs and gutters, removing and replacing bus pads and asphalt concrete grinding. Motorists should expect rough pavement during this phase, followed by resurfacing and striping.
