A roof partially collapsed at a lumber warehouse Friday, causing extensive damage but no injuries, authorities said.
A forklift operator accidentally struck a vertical beam inside the Ganahl Lumber Co. on the 1200 block of East Ball Road about 7:30 a.m., Anaheim Fire Battalion Chief Kent Mastain said.
The collapse ruptured pipes and the sprinkler system and spread debris over a large area, resulting in damage worth about $100,000, Mastain said.
No one else was in the warehouse when the man hit the beam, heard it crack and dashed out to safety, he said.
