* CoCensys Inc.’s stock slumped to a 52-week low Friday after the Irvine biopharmaceutical company said that Monsanto’s G.D. Searle unit has pulled out of a joint effort to develop an insomnia treatment. The stock fell to $1.25 a share during the trading session before rallying to close at $1.53, down 3 cents a share. CoCensys said retains all of its rights to the compounds and will consider seeking a new partner.
