Clintons’ Dog Is Neutered, ‘Happy’

Presidential pooch Buddy has been neutered. And the chocolate Lab is feeling just fine, according to Mike McCurry, the White House press secretary, who had revealed last month that President Clinton intended to have Buddy undergo the operation. “Buddy is happy and doing well,” McCurry said. Asked how he knew the dog’s state of mind, McCurry replied with a grin, “He told me.” The procedure was performed last weekend, the spokesman said.
