Valencia at El Dorado, 4 p.m. Friday: This match should decide the Empire League. Valencia (13-2, 8-1) lost the first match to El Dorado (13-1, 9-0) and its standout senior, Matt Peacock.
* Foothill at Villa Park, 4:15 p.m. Friday: Six-foot-eight middle blocker Erick Helenihi leads Villa Park (5-4, 3-0), which has fought past injuries and a tough nonleague schedule to reach this first league showdown with Foothill (5-3, 4-0).
* Newport Harbor at Santa Margarita, 5:45 p.m. Tuesday: Fourth-ranked Santa Margarita (8-2, 4-1) lost to top-ranked Newport Harbor (9-0, 5-0) in the first round, and the Eagles will enter this match after hosting second-ranked Corona del Mar (6-3, 3-2) Friday. Santa Margarita is completely healthy for the first time this season, so expect Stanford-bound Marcus Skacel and the Eagles to make it interesting.
