University to Hold Teachers Workshop

Teachers are invited to learn what makes a winning educator at a conference sponsored by Cal Lutheran University and Amgen at 4 p.m. April 30.
Professor Linda Organ has analyzed the characteristics of 30 teachers who have won Amgen’s “Teachers of Excellence” award over the last six years and will share these results at the workshop. Some of the award-winning teachers also will be there to share ideas and techniques.
The free forum will be held in the Nelson Room on the Cal Lutheran campus, 60 W. Olsen Road. For more information, call Organ at 373-6842.
