Families Invited to Arts and Crafts Fair

Handmade goods and children’s activities will be featured at the 12th annual Spring Arts and Crafts Fair and Children’s Day in the Park on Saturday.
The Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District will host this free family event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Camarillo Community Center, 1605 E. Burnley St. There will be 45 craft and display booths as well as hands-on projects, games and children’s performances.
Firefighters and sheriff’s deputies will be available to speak with children about their jobs and various programs they are involved with, such as DARE.
Hot dogs, hamburgers and an assortment of Mexican and snack foods will be on the menu. Performances by local entertainers will begin at 10:30 a.m. and continue through the day.
