Reader Is Repelled by Joke About Death

I was disgusted by the attempt at humor concerning the death of Rob Pilatus (Laugh Lines, April 9). Since when is it the status quo to make a joke out of someone’s death?
It appears you have joined the ranks of TV and radio. I guess it’s cool to be hateful and crass.
