Ortega Highway Crash Kills Laguna Hills Man

A 37-year-old Laguna Hills man died in a weekend crash on Ortega Highway when his motorcycle drifted into oncoming traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Sarkis Badzhakiszyan was traveling eastbound about 50 mph when he crossed the double-yellow line and collided with a Chevrolet van about 12:20 p.m. Sunday, a CHP dispatcher said. The crash occurred about 16 miles east of Interstate 5.
