The City Council on Monday will hear public comment on a plan to build 130 homes on a vacant parcel of land bordered by Tustin Ranch Road, Pioneer Way and Jamboree Road.
Kaufman & Broad Coastal Inc. of Newport Beach is seeking permission for the development, which would be on a 20-acre parcel near the planned Tustin Ranch Tree Park.
City officials said the project meets the city’s construction requirements, and is below the site’s maximum allowable density of 201 homes.
The single family homes would range in size from 1,913 to 2,357 square feet.
The council meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way.
