Seminar to Give Writers ‘Pitching’ Opportunity

Sherwood Oaks Experimental College will be offering a “pitching” workshop this weekend for aspiring screenwriters.
Screenwriters will be able to meet one-on-one with more than 30 producers and development executives, including representatives from the production companies of Kevin Costner, Richard Dreyfuss, Oliver Stone and Quentin Tarantino.
The two-day seminar will take place at the Holiday Inn, 1753 N. Highland Ave., Hollywood, today and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The fee for the two-day workshop is $225.
