Reading Events Set for Kids at Library

April is chock-full of reading events for children at the Thousand Oaks Library.
Babies are invited to sit with their parents during a series of “lap-sit lullabies” on April 7, 14 and 21 at 10:30 a.m.
Three 25-minute story-time programs titled “With Friends Like These. . .” will be held for toddlers, on Thursday and April 9 and 16 at 10:30 a.m.
Children ages 6 to 10 may attend a story-time series called “Books Are Best Friends” on April 9, 16 and 23 at 4 p.m. Each 45-minute program will feature stories, songs and creative activities.
All programs are free, but parents must present a library card to receive the necessary complimentary tickets.
