Alliance Imaging Deal

ANAHEIM — Alliance Imaging Inc. said Tuesday it has agreed to acquire Medical Diagnostics Inc., a provider of diagnostic imaging services, for about $35.5 million in cash.
The transaction, which is expected to close in May, will give Alliance more than 200 mobile imaging systems nationwide, according to the Anaheim company, which provides diagnostic imaging services to hospitals and other health care operators.
Medical Diagnostics is a subsidiary of US Diagnostics Inc.
