Nate Barber scored four touchdowns three different ways--and kicked two extra points, for good measure--to help Crescenta Valley High beat Pasadena, 41-18, in a Pacific League football game Saturday at Pasadena.
Barber opened the scoring with a 64-yard run in the first quarter. He added a 12-yard touchdown reception from Seth Santoro later in the quarter.
Barber’s 56-yard scoring punt return in the second quarter gave the Falcons (7-0, 2-0 in league play) a 21-0 halftime lead and he caught an 18-yard touchdown pass from Santoro in the third quarter.
Barber finished with 113 yards rushing in two carries and he had three receptions for 38 yards.
Kenny Pritchett carried 16 times for 96 yards for the Falcons, ranked fourth in the region by The Times, and scored on a three-yard run in the third quarter to make the score 39-0.
Pasadena (3-4, 1-1) was held to 179 yards and committed three turnovers.
