In another Marmonte League game:
Royal 28, Channel Islands 12--Bryant Phipps rushed for 237 yards and two touchdowns in 30 carries and also caught a scoring pass for the Highlanders (4-3, 1-3) at Royal.
Phipps scored on runs of nine and three yards and caught a 24-yard touchdown pass from Dustin Cruz.
Cruz, playing in place injured starter Braden Fien, completed seven of 10 passes for 150 yards.
Ray Carmel rushed for 133 yards in 22 carries and scored on a two-yard run for Channel Islands (1-6, 1-3).
