Pacific Suns May Embarrass Oxnard

If Don DiCarlo and his Pacific Suns baseball organization are such good deals for the community, why did Palm Springs let them go without a whimper?

Could promotions such as “drag queen night” and “nude fan night” have been so embarrassing to residents of that city that there was cause for celebration when DiCarlo and his Suns left, searching for new chickens to pluck, uh, that is, “greener pastures”?
