Ventura business owner Charles Stauffer credits the Ventura County Entrepreneur Academy with helping him grow his small software company. Since graduating from the academy three months ago, he has changed the company’s name and developed a more aggressive marketing plan (Business D21C). . . . But if more business owners don’t show a similar interest in the free county program, training could end in August, officials say.
