Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing

OXNARD — Detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing Saturday night of an unidentified Latino.
Oxnard Police Cmdr. Gary Amar said the body was found about 7:30 p.m. on Rice Avenue near the Ventura Freeway. Apparently, Amar said, the man had been involved in a fight.
There is no description of the suspect or suspects, he said, and no information on what precipitated the disagreement.
The victim’s name was not released pending notification of relatives.
