Johnson Is Still Adjusting to Davis

Senior swingman Kris Johnson got his first start of the season Saturday in UCLA’s victory over Saint Louis, and said he finally started to get into a groove in the final part of the game.
Johnson said he is having to adapt to freshman point guard Baron Davis’ passing style after being used to the by-the-book passes of Cameron Dollar the past two seasons.
“Baron hits you when you really least expect it, and I just have to get used to that,” said Johnson, who scored seven points in the last 10 minutes against the Billikens and 13 overall.
