Bloomington Runs Past Yucaipa, 36-20

Bloomington High won its third CIF Division VII title in four seasons, defeating Yucaipa, 36-20, before a capacity crowd of more than 7,000 fans at Yucaipa.
Bloomington senior Montise Mallory ran for 142 yards and scored three touchdowns, and senior Jesse Hernandez ran for 111 yards.
Bloomington rolled up 384 yards of offense and held Yucaipa senior running back Alan Taylor to 51 yards in 18 carries. Taylor, who rushed for a school-record 2,713 yards, scored the Thunderbirds’ first touchdown.
