A public hearing scheduled for today on the Hansen Dam Recreation Center project has been postponed, the vice chairwoman of an advisory committee said Tuesday.
The hearing, which was to have been held at Los Angeles City Hall, was not rescheduled immediately, said Nancy Snider, vice chairwoman of an advisory committee to the Los Angeles Board of Recreation and Park Commissioners.
City officials are seeking to reduce the size of two lakes to be built in the recreation center from a total of 15 acres to 10 1/2 acres. The reduction would result in a nine-acre recreation lake and 1 1/2-acre swimming lake, officials said.
