* Update--Finley had his best outing of the season Tuesday, giving up one run in seven innings against the Dodgers. The time has come for Finley, as the team’s No. 1 starter, to run off a string of good outings. The Angels’ battered lineup should receive a boost, as Jim Edmonds is expected to play today. Oquist is rapidly becoming the most consistent starter on an inconsistent staff. He has reached the sixth inning in each of his five starts since being called up from triple-A Edmonton. Mark McGwire, second in the major leagues with 26 home runs, was held to a single in the first two games of the series.
