School Renovation

Re “At Twin Towers, Paper Helps Keep the Peace,” June 9: I find it so amazing that Los Angeles wants its prisoners to be comfortable during renovation at Sybil Brand jail by moving them to a brand-new facility (Twin Towers) for three years, while we here at John Adams Middle School (not far away) must endure the noise, inconvenience and dangers of renovation on our campus buildings.
Is there no one who cares about our students, teachers and staff to house us somewhere during renovation? This is just another example of education coming last in priority in our city and state. Then people wonder why our students’ test scores are so low.
