Maurice “Muzzy” Marcellino, 84, multifaceted big band musician who was a guitarist, singer, whistler, composer and director. A native of San Francisco, Marcellino began his career as a singer with Phil Harris’ band. He eventually started his own orchestra and for 19 years provided the music for Art Linkletter’s daytime radio and television show, “House Party.” As a composer, Marcellino collaborated with Jimmy Dodd on musical numbers for Disney’s original “Mickey Mouse Club.” As a whistler, Marcellino was soloist for the theme song of the motion picture “The High and the Mighty” and for birdcalls for Disneyland’s “Tiki Room.” On June 11 in Sherman Oaks.
