VOICES OF HOPE: “A Night Under the...

VOICES OF HOPE: “A Night Under the Stars” will feature original Jewish music performed by Cantor Caren Glasser and Emmy-award winning musician Craig Taubman from their latest recording, “Kol Tikvah, Voices of Hope,” at 8 tonight at the Skirball Cultural Center and Museum, 2701 N. PUBLIC PICNIC FOR CHARITY: Women Crowned in Glory will hold a special indoor picnic, featuring a barbecue, live music and children’s entertainment, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the sound stage at CBS Studios, 4024 Radford St., Studio City. Proceeds from the picnic will benefit the Christian Women’s Outreach program of True Life Church, which helps abused and neglected women. SANCTUARY TO REOPEN: A rededication service will be held to mark the opening of the North Glendale United Methodist Church’s sanctuary. The sanctuary has been refurbished in the original Art Deco style. The special service will combine both the congregations from the North Glendale United Methodist Church and the Emmanuel Korean United Methodist Church.
