Family Fun Fest ’97 today at the Granada Village Shopping Center will raise money for area public schools.
The festival will include an antique and classic car show, sidewalk sale, Minikin Marionette Puppet Show, miniature golf, face painting and other children’s games, said Dana Schmitz, the center’s marketing director.
Some of the center’s 35 merchants will donate a portion of their proceeds from Saturday’s event to local public schools in Northridge and Granada Hills, Schmitz said. The number of schools that will benefit will depend on how much money is raised.
The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the center, situated at Chatsworth Street and Zelzah Avenue.
