Sheriff’s deputies asked for help Thursday in their search for a 35-year-old Lynwood woman last seen at her home May 29.
Diane de Vault is described as a black woman with short hair and six piercings in each ear. Authorities said she occasionally reverts to the mental state of a 9-year-old child. Sheriff’s Department spokesman Mark Bailey said she has been known to disappear from her home, but never for this long a period.
De Vault also goes by the name of Diane Hardy, Bailey said. She was last seen wearing a gold rope chain necklace and dangling earrings. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s homicide/missing persons division at (213) 890-5500.
