Man Critically Hurt in Two-Vehicle Crash

A passenger was critically injured Thursday morning when the Toyota Corolla he was riding in was broadsided by a Chevrolet pickup on Fairview Street near Segerstrom Avenue, police said.
Police spokesman Rich Murg said the vision of both drivers was blocked by a semi-trailer making a left turn from Fairview.
The Toyota was turning left from the opposite direction on Fairview.
The car passenger, as Alberto Grajeda, 24, was taken to UCI Medical Center with massive head injuries and was listed in critical condition late Thursday, officials said.
